Plusnet is a division of the BT group which operates from sheffield in the United Kingdom. Plusnet provides both home and business broadband in UK. They provide cheap broadband service with a speed range between 8 to 20Mbps. But the speed of the internet connection varies depending upon the telephone line and the area of your residence. Plusnet will check your phone line and then give the estimated downloaded speed on request.
You can either subscribe for a new broadband connection if you don’t have one or else you can switch from existing broadband provider to plusnet to enjoy the unlimited benefits. Pricing of the connections are subjected to variations and depends on the type of market you live in. So you may have to check with plusnet to know about the pricing information. Plusnet allows you to use any modem which is compatible and is not mandatory to purchase one from them. However you also have to choose between single port or multi port or wireless modem depending upon your requirements. Activation of new connection will be done in a maximum of 5 business days whereas switching connection to plusnet from a different ISP might take 7 to 30 days.
