In this post I briefly want to talk about why you should not try to fix or repair your Xbox 360 console with the “Towel Trick Repair Method”. Many people have this misconception that the towel trick is a quick Xbox 360 fix, this is far from the truth. For those who don’t know the Towel trick involves wrapping towels around your console to cause it to over heat even more!
Why would you want to over heat your console in the first place? Do you really think this is going to be a solid fix? The reason some think that the repair method works is because for some people it gives the a temporary fix. But really whats happening on the inside is the parts are just getting even hotter and might melt.
In the long run it will cause more damage, and this method should be avoided by all means. You can start a fire in your house so please be careful and don’t listen to people who recommend this dangerous repair method.
